Sicario 2: Soldado - 4K UHD

The excellent sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s brilliant Sicario, Sicario 2: Soldado comes to Digital Download on October 22 and 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and Steelbook from October 29.

Sicario 2: Soldado - 4K UHD

Sicario 2: Soldado, the uncompromising, unflinching dive into the underbelly of the US-Mexico drug trade, sees stars of the powerful first film, Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro, come back for more in director Stefano Sollima’s compelling thriller.

Denis Villeneuve’s Sicario is a tough act to follow for any filmmaker but Sollima, the man behind the critically acclaimed Gomorrah, has delivered a film that is every bit as good as the original. Sans Emily Blunt but sporting a powerhouse performance from the always dependable Catherine Keener, Sicario 2 takes audiences once again on an edge-of-your-seat ride inside the illegal drugs trade.

The sequel begins as US government officials begin suspecting the cartels are trafficking terrorists across the border. Brolin’s federal agent Matt Graver once again calls on the help of enigmatic hitman Alejandro (Del Toro) who kidnaps the wanted kingpin’s daughter in order to escalate the war. But soon the objectives of their work come into conflict when the girl becomes collateral damage. Now her fate will divide the two men and push them to question what they are fighting for.

The heart-pounding sequel to the critically acclaimed Sicario arrives on digital download from October 22 and on 4K UHD, DVD, Steelbook, Blu-Ray™, DVD Double Pack, Blu-Ray™ Double Pack and UHD Double Pack from October 29, courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment UK.
