College students usually have a bit of free time on their hands. I’m sure there are a few ways they can think of to occupy their time, and few will concern studying. Of course, movies are reliable time-fillers (and they can be quite educative too). Indeed, some even use college as their backdrop.

Talent can come from anywhere. You only need someone to see that and mold it into something beautiful. This story will have you is stitches and also drop your jaw at the talent of a bunch of musical genius kids. An all-round feel-good movie that you can watch again and again.

If you feel that you don’t fit the mold anymore and that you are part of a dying breed, then this one is for you. Two salesmen get sacked because online shopping has taken over their jobs. They end up landing internship jobs at Google and teach their younger teammates the value of relationship.

The Shawshank Redemption

This has been rated as one of the all-time best movies ever and deservedly so. It leaves you thinking that if you have a plan and if you persevere, you can overcome any obstacle. Life sometimes throws a couple of curveballs your way and you might get knocked down, but how you get up from your setbacks is what counts in the end.

Truth be told, there are so many good movies out there, we didn’t even get into any of the great psychedelic movies out there. If you feel like there aren’t any good shows out there today, don’t fret. There are more than enough classics to keep you glued to the screen and help you switch off when the studies become too much.
