“The Colossus Of New York” & “Crack In The World” Coming To Blu-ray

101 Films will release The Colossus Of New York and Crack In The World on Blu-ray in August.

The suspenseful 1950s sci-fi The Colossus of New York from director Eugène Lourié will arrive on Blu-ray courtesy of 101 Films in August.

The film will be joined on the shelves by apocalyptic disaster movie Crack in the World from legendary director Andrew Marton (perhaps best known for directing the chariot race in Ben-Hur, for which he received a special Academy Award).

Allan Bryce, film historian, has recorded brand new commentaries for both films. He’s joined by David Flint on The Colossus of New York Blu-ray while he speaks with Richard Hollis on the Crack in the World release.

Both titles are released on August 5.
