Having wowed audiences with her performance in the terrifying Us, Lupita Nyong’o showed she was just as adept at comedy with Little Monsters. Now she’s agreed to re-team with the film’s director Abe Forsythe in an untitled sci-fi comedy.
She terrified us in 2019, she made us laugh in 2019, she once again showed us what a terrific talent she is. Now Lupita Nyong’o, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave, is going to re-team with Little Monsters director Abe Forsythe for an untitled sci-fi comedy.
The film, according to Deadline, was at one time titled Miss Universe and contained elements of Men In Black and Miss Congeniality… an interesting mix to say the least.
Nyong’o will produce the film with Us distributors Universal overseeing proceedings with Forsythe writing and directing. It’s a busy time for the actress, the first of Kenyan-Mexican descent to win an Oscar, with a number of films at different stages including John Woo’s remake of The Killer.
