Robert Pattinson is to star in director Christopher Nolan’s next epic in what promises to be his most significant role since Twilight.
Robert Pattinson is set for his most significant role since Twilight after it was announced he would join the cast of The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan’s latest untitled action epic.
The bad boy of Good Time, who has since become a worldwide icon thanks to the Twilight franchise, delivered sparkling performances in films such as Life, The Rover and Remember Me, and audiences will be hoping for more of the same when he steps in front of Nolan’s camera.
Largely side-stepping big blockbuster movies since playing Edward Cullen in Twilight, Pattinson has rightly become considered a dynamic, multi-talented actor instead of just a teen heartthrob.
He’ll co-star with Elizabeth Debicki, known for her roles in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and The Cloverfield Paradox, and BlacKkKlansman breakout John David Washington, in the film which has so far unveiled very few details.
The plot is unknown but rumours suggest Nolan will be looking to deliver another IMAX-photographed “event movie” from a script he has written. Warner Bros expects to theatrically distribute the film in the summer of 2020.
