After his appearances in Michael Moore’s political anti-Trump documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 and Dinesh D’Souza‘s highly right-winged pro-Trump Death of a Nation, the US President was nominated for worst actor and worst screen combo. His wife Melania also received a nomination in the worst actress category, in which she is competing with Trump’s former campaign manager and current counsellor, Kellyanne Conway.

Alongside Trump at the Razzie Awards nominations sit actors such as John Travolta, Johnny Depp, and Helen Mirren. John Travolta and his partner Kelly Preston were nominated for worst actor and worst actress respectively for their roles as John Gotti Sr. and Victoria Gotti in Kevin Connolly‘s Gotti.  Meanwhile, former husband and wife Johnny Depp and Amber Heard also received nominations, Depp for his role in John Stevenson‘s Sherlock Gnomes and Heard for her role in Matthew Cullen‘s adaptation of London Field.
