New Stationary Products Celebrate Studio Ghibli

In 1988 Studio Ghibli released the animated fantasy My Neighbour Totoro to much acclaim. Directed by legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, the award-winning film is widely regarded as one of the greatest animated films ever made, ranking #13 on Rolling Stone’s “40 Greatest Animated Movies Ever” and the #1 spot on a list of the greatest animated films, curated by director Terry Gilliam in TimeOut London.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest animated films ever made, Studio Ghibli’s animated fantasy My Neighbor Totoro from legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, gets a 30th anniversary celebration courtesy of Chronicle Books which has announced a new set of stationary products inspired by Studio Ghibli’s work.

Ranking 13th on Rolling Stone’s “40 Greatest Animated Movies Ever” and taking the number one spot on a list of the greatest animated films, curated by director Terry Gilliam in TimeOut London, My Neighbour Totoro begins a new line of products from Chronicle Books that embrace the spirit of Miyazaki’s imagination.

The stationary products to be unveiled in October begin with My Neighbour Totoro Postcards which relive the film through 30 full-colour postcards reproducing hand-drawn final frames from the film. My Neighbour Totoro: Pop-Up Notecards continue the series with full colour notecards, 10 in total, relive scenes in pop-up style.
