Traditionally, Las Vegas has a reputation for being all about casinos, high rollers, extravagance, limousines and non-stop parties. However, Sin City has come a long way since the days of Bugsy Siegel, Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

Plus there is huge range of outdoor activities to get stuck into like the Grand Canyon, the Colorado River and the Valley of Fire.
However, in spite of the host of stuff going on, places to see, shows and carnival rides to enjoy; there is no getting away from the fact that anyone coming to The Strip has to experience the grandeur and richness of some of the best casinos ever to be built.
The Bellagio experience is just out of this world, with more than 2300 slot machines, high roller tables and exclusive tournaments like the World Poker Tour. It is literally an infinite amount of action going on, which is all greatly enhanced by decadent amenities and furnishings like thousands of hand blown glass flowers, a Gallery of Fine Art, a Botanical Gardens and the must see Fountains of Bellagio.
Caesars Palace has undergone extensive renovations and has evolved into one of the best casinos on The Strip for a number of reasons. There is of course the history of the place which has been around since the 1960s and the fact that it now houses the most million dollar slot machines than any place in the world. In addition to this, lots of celebrities and stars have endorsed and favored this casino, like Celine Dion and Sir Elton John, who have both performed in the Colosseum theatre and partied in the Omnia club.
One cannot come to Vegas and not embrace the heat and sunshine, so the Mandalay Bay is yet another fantastic casino that has to be experienced. Ever since the grand launch of this casino in 1999, it has dominated the southern end of The Strip. The casino has a tropical theme which includes the Mandalay Bay Beach, Shark Reef Aquarium and countless pool parties that seem to go on forever. Plus this casino also partners with two of the most prestigious brands in world, Delano and Four Seasons.
For anyone who needs to check out unique thrills outside the realms of the casinos, there is always jumping of the Stratosphere Tower to get the heart racing. For the health fanatics, why not go on a cycling tour and discover the Red Rock Canyon and take in all of its natural beauty. And for those of us who fancy a spot of golf, the perfect place is Angel park in Summerlin; a 36 hole course designed by Arnold Palmer.
So although Las Vegas is not just about casinos, it would be a shame not to have a taste of some of the best casinos in the world; and in the process have the opportunity of literally winning millions of dollars. It is definitely a place to include on anyone’s bucket list, it has everything that a holiday should have and a whole lot more!
