“Star Wars” & “Spectre” Battle For Blockbuster Of The Year

JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens will battle it out with James Bond for the Blockbuster of the Year award at this year’s British Film Awards.

Alongside Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Inside Out, Star Wars and James Bond will battle it out for the accolade voted for by readers of The Evening Standard. The shortlist also includes top grossing outsiders such as two of 2015’s commercially successful turds Fifty Shades of the Grey and Jurassic World as well as Furious 7, Home and Minions.

I don’t know about you but I know which of the shortlisted films I’ll be voting for! Yep – Star Wars!
