Top 10 Comic Book Films Villains of 2014

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a perfectly enjoyable and exciting blockbuster that is helped enormously by the powerhouse trio that is Garfield, Stone and DeHaan. That said, Electro is a poorly developed villain, and you can’t help but feel the franchise bean counters at work here thanks to all the ominous foreshadowing and unresolved character arcs. Plus, it still fails to reach the spectacular heights of the “other” Spider-Man 2, which worked as a stand alone film with a clear through line and a better-developed central villain.
