Last year I posted my favourite top 10 lists of the year for 2011. It was nice to review the sorts of lists I was being inspired to make as well as celebrate the work of the many contributors who keep Top 10 Films full of new content. As we near the end of the year I’m back to review 2012.

We’ve had lots of new contributors joining the team, while Andy Boxall and Chris Wharfe have continued to help me cover new release DVDs/Blu-rays. I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to the site in all forms – from reviews and top 10 lists to comments and regular visits.

Here’s my favourite top 10 lists from 2012:

10. Top 10 Brian De Palma Films
