Trying to escape the authorities, Elliott takes flight thanks to E.T.’s magical powers. With E.T. sat in the bicycle’s front-mounted basket, the pair fly in front of a beautiful blue moon.

    believe it or not, I still haven’t watched ET. Back when I was a kid, the biggest hits in my country were THE GOONIES, BACK TO FUTURE, INDIANA JONES, MAD MAX … and I just never saw ET.

    Definitely iconic. I would also add the scene from Rocky where Sylvester Stallone runs up the steps and does the raise your hands victory dance(?).
