Great review of one of my favourite films of all time. I love Alien as well but they’re so different, nice summary of the differences in the directors styles. I couldn’t believe how good the effects are in this film, so much better than CGI when there’s an actual physical presence.

I’m not sure the words “Get away from her you bitch” are timeless, per se, but they are definitely some of the most quoted in the Enlish language. Great review Dan, as usual!!!

Nice work there Ross, I always thought (and should have made mention of it in at least one of my reviews of the Alien movies) that Ellen Ripley would make a great film critic. I suppose that alien-blood inside might rear its ugly head from time to time nowadays though!
