From the award-winning team that brought us sci-fi The Machine, and the writers of stylish scary movie Howl, comes Don’t Knock Twice, a new British horror film pitting a mother and daughter against a vengeful witch in search of sinful souls.
Top 10 Films had the pleasure of seeing director Carodog James’ horror film Don’t Knock Twice in January, a new supernatural thriller set to hit UK cinemas in March. With reviews currently embargoed we’re unable to say much but we can reveal that it’s a tasty treat for horror fans. Indeed, anyone who has enjoyed the delights of the Insidious and Conjuring franchises lately will find plenty to like.
Starring Katee Sackhoff, Lucy Boynton and Nick Moran, the film is rooted in urban legend when a young girl evokes the spirit of a malevolent force, thought to be the spirit of a dead lady considered a witch before her death. She turns to the mother who abandoned her for help and both are thrust into a battle with a seemingly unstoppable entity.
