Recap of the Year: Sep to Dec 2012
I take a look back over four months of top 10 lists as we celebrated everything from superheroes and James Bond to the best Morgan Freeman “twosomes”.
You can see my previous recaps here (Jan to April 2012) and here (May to August 2012). The final third of the year has seen me and the Top 10 Films team celebrate James Bond, Christian Slater movies, the 1980s, frightening females and more James Bond. We’ve done 25 top 10′s, one top 11, and to show off, a top 50!

September
There was a superhero slant in September as we took a look at the best “superhero” films while I contemplated who might play Supergirl if there was a reboot.
October
Bond fever crept into proceedings as Skyfall was released in the UK. I also took a look at a curious phenomenon – the Morgan Freeman onscreen “twosome”.
November
Bond fever continued as I revealed my favourite James Bond films of all time.
December
In December I ranked the best films in a genre close to my heart – action-horror. I also took a look at the best films about husbands and wives.
