The Hobbit “scroll” reveals a great adventure

10 July 2012 7 Comments

Warner Bros. and Peter Jackson reveal a wonderful “scroll” devoted to upcoming release The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The film will be released in the UK December 14th

As anticipation hots up for the release of Peter Jackson’s prequel to Lord of the Rings, Warner Bros. has produced a huge tapestry featuring Bilbo Baggins on his many adventures in the quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Below are some of my favourite images from this new poster.

I have to say I’m not a fan boy when it comes to LOTR or Hobbit but the tapestry does look fantastic… And I’ll watch the film for sure

Hopefully people will still want to revisit this universe when Hobbit finally comes out. I’m excited for it, but not sure about it being two movies though.

You know, this is a movie that basically markets itself, and yet nobody working on its ad campaign seems to be slacking. Not that I’m not already guaranteed to see this, but I love the effort that’s been put into the promotional material. It’s beautiful.

Great set of artwork we have here. I wish more posters went with something similar, rather than floating heads.

Oh man, I CANNOT wait for this adventure to begin! The worst part about The Hobbit is the long wait to see it.
