Who knew the world’s best golfer was also a great actor? As the Irish golfing ace becomes number one in the world, we re-watch his 1978 film Jaws 2!

While watching Jaws 2 it struck me that Eddie, the kid who plays the boyfriend of the gorgeous Tina and who succumbs to the shark to the joyous cheers of all who outwardly wish they were in his shoes (during all the kissing, not Jaws’ dinner time), had an odd familiarity with someone. Who did he remind me of? Then it struck me!

We all know the world’s best golfer is skillful with a nine-iron but who knew the kid could act. Rory McIlroy had a past life it seems. It also appears that he’s been lying about his age since he claims to have been born in 1989 but Jaws 2 was filmed and released in 1978. How could this be?

For those that believe in reincarnation this could confirm beliefs! Either that or Rory has a twin going by the name Gary Dubin, who was born to a different mother twenty years earlier than the golfing ace.

What other famous “twins” are out there? Perhaps this is a question for Mulder and Scully?
